Kara Santos is a freelance writer and adventurer based in Manila whose work has been published in Lonely Planet’s website and travel guidebooks. She launched her personal blog Travel Up (www.traveling-up.com) in 2011 to share stories from her travels around the country and fulfilled a personal travel quest to visit all 82 provinces of her home country in 2019.
